They will not even win as a corporator . Sharmila herself could not even get deposit in election for MP seat  . The entry to YSRCP is permanently closed . They can continue to contest from Congress .

Sharmila's husband is a Brahmin and his surname name is morusupalli. Her son can't have her dad's surname by descent. Keeping Morsupalli surname will not get him any recognition. That's why she is using YS. 

Just like MAALOKAM claiming legacy of NTR, and not even talking about his granddad Nara Khajura Naidoo.

Jr. NTR has more claim to TDP than anyone else. His paternal grandfather from whom he inherits his Surname is NTR, and NTR always wanted Harikrishna to succeed him. Baboru claims himself to be a custodian, and gradually took over TDP. He can keep MAALOKAM in power only till he survives. Other nandamooris may rally around MAALOKAM due to Balayya and NTR being a bastard, but when public patronage is considered everyone knows where MAALOKAM and Jr NTR stand. 

 

On the other hand, just like MAALOKAM, Morusupalli Sharmila's son can't claim YS in his name, if any he can't even use Reddi. But Sharmila is simply resorting to these antics to cash in her father's name. That legacy can only be claimed by male progeny which is Jagan.
