Raja_Elango Posted September 9 Report Posted September 9 FYI, rahukalam is calculated based on sunrise and sunset times, which are not constant. The times you mentioned assumes sun rises at 6am everyday and sets at 6pm. Maybe ok to some extent in India because of the proximity to equator, but will be totally wrong for US 1 Quote

Assign rest of them in the order mentioned in other posts. Example: Assuming sunrise is 6am and sunset is 6pm, 18:00 - 6:00 = 12 hours / 8 = 1.5 hours. Discard 6-7:30. Assign rest in the order M Sa F W Th Tu Su. But if sun rises at 5:30am and sets at 8:30pm, rahukalam length will be around 1hr52m, not 1h30m. Easy way: Just go to drikpanchang.com, select your city, go to daily panchang. They list everything based on your location. 1 2 Quote

It’s rahu Kalam for everyone during that time? No dependency on the jatakam or birth sign of that person? Quote
