I partially agree with your sarcasm here. Businessmen usually say what politicians what to hear. Or may be Dhirubhai was thinking about telecom business and he valued CBNs advice. But in reality it’s Dhirubhai’s decision to get into it. It’s his money. How much CBN influence had we don’t know. But you have to give it that his son mentioned it in an interview. That’s about it. vegasvegas Posted September 19 Author Report Posted September 19 zaggle, 1000 cr plus annual revenue company founder on cbn Raj Narayanam Building Zaggle! 2w The year was 1995. I was just another young man trying to figure out what to do next. That year, I got the chance to meet Chandrababu Naidu Garu, the CM of united Andhra Pradesh. It wasn’t a long conversation, but enough to leave me curious. There was something different about him. An energy that made you lean in and listen harder. Two years later, in 1997 in San Francisco, I got to have a proper chat with him. While most leaders of that era spoke about roads, electricity and subsidies, here was a man talking about digitisation. About making every small town internet-ready. About turning Hyderabad into a tech hub. About e-governance when many of us hadn’t even used email. After that meeting, I told him: “I want to come back to India. May be do business. Maybe even contribute to politics if there’s a way.” By 1999, I even tried to get a ticket to contest the elections (yes, I know this might surprise many 🙂). It didn’t work out. He explained the realities about the costs and the system. And in that disappointment, I stumbled into entrepreneurship. When I met him again a few days ago, I reminded him of this. I said, “I am an accidental entrepreneur, thanks to you.” He smiled warmly and said “I did the right thing by not giving you the ticket” and he laughed. He was right! What amazed me most was even after all these years, his energy has not dimmed a bit. At 74, he still speaks about the future like a 30-year-old brimming with ideas. He spoke of Andhra Pradesh as the Singapore of India and about building a “Quantum Valley” for quantum innovation. It reminded me of the 90s, when he envisioned Hi-Tech City and Cyber Towers, and then went out and actually built them. Everytime I had a conversation with him, I relate his vision to that of Dhirubhai Ambani’s “Think big, think fast, think ahead”. Few leaders can dream big. Even fewer can execute. He’s one of the rare ones who does both. He even shared stories of his own failures. 3 failed business attempts before finally creating Heritage Foods. For me, the circle feels complete. That spark lit in 1995, fuelled in 1997, redirected in 1999… it shaped my journey in ways I couldn’t see back then. My story of how he inspired me 3 decades ago to where I’ve reached now, is just one among the many that he has been an inspiration for. Quote

According to Yellow Constitution, before NTR there was no development..it was an iron age where people hunted for food. CBN vachaka early man invented pottery wheel, fire, etc. 1 Quote
