Nothing really changed in last 24 months from job level. The job market was shrinking for tech jobs after the COVID bubble. A lot of MAGA hate is totally due to our Dallas sodharis and sodharulu and other scrap batch doing over action and pissing off locals. Given the new X and social media this hatred got amplified. 
there is no need for this 100k and this is purely a MAGA people pleasing gimmick. 
the real culprit are the scrap reels, festivals and hero worship batch who screwed up for everyone. 
in one way, I really want this scrap gone. Shameless people.

There is a clause saying certain individuals or companies can be exempted if the work is in the national interest

Basically it saying if $100k is not paid you wont get visa stamped. In country extensions are fine I guess. This blocks WITCH companies from bringing in new people on H1B. But he forgot to include L1A and L1B

Tech companies for top talent paying 100k is nothing. Most tech companies for experienced people the cost to company will be over 500k. So 100k is ok. 
again, not happy.  But we over did with our frauds. 
it’s systemically issue with diluted water education in India. I remember that in late 90s my sis got 305 emcet rank and couldn’t get CS or ECE seat. Now even 20k rank fellow is coming to US. It’s super diluted. Most of top talent is staying back in India and getting top salaries. It’s all scrap who is here in last 10 years. There are exceptions, but majority is scrap
