h1b india jan dates rescheduled to 2027

Hello all,

Putting it out here for others to be aware:

I had 1 slot h1b visa dates in Jan 2026, they have got rescheduled to dates in 2027

Old dates:

Jan 15 2026 Mumbai, Jan 23 2026 Chennai.

New dates:

Feb 08 2027 Mumbai and Feb 16 2027 Chennai..

My OFC is done but my interview got rescheduled to April 2026. I am already in India and my emergency interview request was approved as I need to immediately travel back for my baby’s medical treatment. However I am unable to see any slots available when I try to schedule the emergency appointment. I have raised multiple requests and cases with the support but all they say is keep trying. Me being back in the US is time critical for my baby’s treatment and I am not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

Sad but why he is not treating his baby in India? If his baby is in US, he can send money and a lot of friends will take care of her. He has a lot of solutions to the problem.

If that story is true he or she should get the visa as a priority. Cause US shitizen kid kabatti. But many are using excuses from Corona time with duly reasons like baby can't stay in india school issue eetc so vaallu nammatam maanesaru manollani doctor letters pedthunna edit anukune la chesaru. Unfortunate but many spoiled emergency visa system as it is. Hope they get their visa ASAP and baby ni care cheyyataniki.
