No one is paying for a rotting tomato. H1Bs from India are looking for "Value arbitrage". USD 🙏🏻🙇🏻♂️ and make monies. Then due to service model of the industries in India they suffer ageism. By 45 unless they're in middle to upper management or extremely competent tech roles, their bodies & minds can't take the grind and are tossed out for youth. They try to hold on to US side of roles. That leaves only 5-10% including tech, medicine and science& mfg. Fields. These can port themselves in India when they need. Bro ardham kaaleedhu… What I understand is that Indian H1Bs are freeloaders exploting Dollars. When they have to really work hard, they give up. Is it what u r saying ? Quote
andhra_jp Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 When asked if the policy would apply to existing holders, Lutnick appeared to say yes. “Renewals, first time: the company needs to decide…Is the person valuable enough to have a $100,000 a year payment to the government? Or they should head home and go hire an American?” he said. Some immigration specialists say they expect the Trump administration’s move is just the beginning of more changes likely to affect H-1B holders. “We believe this is just step one on the government’s attack on the H-1B program,” Fisher Phillips’ Stevenson said. Absolutely, if he can't change policies at least thatha creates enough mess to stop companies to hire , next step would be more and more site visits as part of firewall program announced yesterday and create unnecessary noise to make HR people to rethink about hiring people on visa .... Next would be more RFEs and rejections , pending visa approvals longer than expected ... Definitely company don't want to risk 1 Quote
