Undilaemanchikalam Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 హైదరాబాద్: గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రోకు మంచి డిమాండ్ ఉండేదని, దేశంలోనే రెండో అతిపెద్ద వ్యవస్థ. గతంలో వైఎస్ఆర్ ఓఆర్ఆర్ నిర్మించినప్పుడు ఒక మంచి పని చేశారని, రోడ్డు పక్కన కొంత భూమిని అదనంగా వదిలారని చెప్పారు. ‘‘400కి.మీ మేర మెట్రో విస్తరణకు కేసీఆర్ ప్రణాళికలు రచించారు. దశలవారీగా మెట్రో విస్తరణకు గతంలో కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. అధికారంలోకి రాగానే రేవంత్రెడ్డి అనాలోచితంగా ఎయిర్పోర్టు మెట్రోను రద్దు చేశారు. ఆయన తలచుకుంటే ఇప్పటికే ఎయిర్పోర్టు మెట్రో పూర్తయ్యేది. భూసేకరణ ఇబ్బంది కూడా లేదు. ఎయిర్పోర్టు మెట్రో కొనసాగించాలని ఎల్ అండ్ టీ కోరింది. అందుకు రేవంత్రెడ్డి ఒప్పుకోలేదు. అప్పటి నుంచే సీఎం, ఎల్ అండ్ టీ మధ్య గొడవ మొదలైంది. రేవంత్రెడ్డి వల్ల ఆ సంస్థ చాలా ఇబ్బంది పడింది. ఆయన వైఖరి వల్లే ఆ సంస్థ వెళ్లిపోతోంది. అనేక కష్టాలు ఎదుర్కొని ఎల్ అండ్ టీ .. మెట్రోను నడిపింది. దాని నిష్క్రమణ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి మాయని మచ్చ. పెట్టుబడిదారులను సాక్షాత్తూ ముఖ్యమంత్రే బెదిరిస్తున్నారు. నియంతలా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు’’ 1 Quote

The SPV posted a loss of Rs 208 crore in Q1FY26 as compared to a loss of Rs 214 crore in Q1 FY25. . The EBITDA for Hyderabad metro was Rs 101 crore during Q1FY25 and stands at Rs 112 crore in Q1FY26. "...at the current level of roughly Rs 12,500-odd crore of debt, the Hyderabad metro interest averages around Rs 240-250 crore," the company had said in the June quarter earnings call, which has resulted in a loss worth Rs 208 crore on L&T's books in Q1FY26.
