Hiring CPA and property manager both are optional, its up to individuals. If you know what you are doing, you are fine. Naku telisi property management ni pettukokapoina H1Bs can get rental income as long as they dont actively fix/repair things spending lots of time. And taking a call from tenant and hiring a plumber/handman is not considered active property maintenance.

I am not an expert, but read the guidelines. In the end, it’s not worth taking risk.
