Just saw the recent hurun list and shah rukh khan had 1.5 billion dollars net worth in a country like India,actors in India are paid on the same scale as Hollywood actors. And it probably doesn't cover some of their more obscure investments so he probably has even more money. kohli has 150 M dollars and cricket is nothing outside of south asia this type of net worth for sports people is only present in internationally popular sports like football ,tennis ,boxing pulling in revenue from all over the world. Compare with other asian countries ,no actor or sports person (inside of their country not playing american or European leagues ) would earn that much money ,china even has strict laws to cap salaries of people in entertainment industry. Highest ipl salary was 27 crores for 2 months and if you take highest wage in pl ,he earns 40 crores for 2 months in a league and sport which is much much popular than cricket and in a country which is much more developed than india. PL revenue is 10 times of IPL revenue. comparing american culture to our countries is a joke ,no other country has the same amount of money as america. Quote
