Ananya Joshi recently shared a note of gratitude for the US as she departed the country, describing it as her first home as a financially independent adult. According to HT, Joshi completed her master’s degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University in 2024 and subsequently joined a biotechnology startup under an F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) program. After being laid off from the startup, she began searching for a new job but was ultimately unsuccessful, documenting her experiences and struggles on Instagram and LinkedIn.
 

 

In a video, she could be seen crying while documenting her move from the US to Dubai. As soon as the video went viral, people sarcastically commented on her “struggle,” saying this is the kind of struggle they want, crying in a first-class Emirates plane.

One wrote, “Left the American dream to pursue Dubai dream and weeping in a first class, such a tough life.”

Another added, “Oh to cry in an Emirates business class flight to go from America to Dubai. Living the dream I see. Hope my kids will be as privileged as you are today.”

nibba culture varaku I agree bhayya, northwestern is almost in the ivy league in fact for some courses it's above some colleges in the ivy league.
