It's not institutionalised in south india ,discrimination is due to money or power difference

I don't think so. That fear was never instilled in me. My family took me with them but never forced me to go to temple or took forcibly along. Education and fear through instill chesindi patriotism. North one is institutionalized into religion ,even if jaats become more powerful than rajputs ,they will be seen as lower caste because of Varna system.
