Bangladesh is being controlled by saudi by sponsoring money to build mosques and spread their ideology.

Infact most developing muslim majority countries are being influenced by saudi using religion which in turn is influenced by u.s.

Turkey ,malaysia and indonesia are probably the only countries which are not influenced by saudi to a large extent as they are sufficiently developed themselves.

Indonesia seems to be an ideal Muslim majority country. Also probably the only country where Islam was has not spread through violence or by invading.

It's even worse than wahabism in South Asian because South Asian muslims take worst aspects of their culture and wahabism and propagate it in the name of deo bandism which is also funded by wahabism since it is very similar to their ideology ,this extreme form of religion is what madrasas teach in south asia.

Current saudi government doesn't even like wahabism but they are forced to fund them because the idea of saudi state is founded in wahab principles and cutting funding would cause civil distrust.

They were even used by america historically to reduce russian influence in muslim countries.

But nowadays most middle income countries and above are discarding and fighting against wahabism  except for African and South Asian countries which are controlled by religion rather than ethnic identity .

Most people in this db also aren't that different who would chose religion over blood and ethnic  identity ,if tomorrow Hinduism preached by indo-aryan people become radical they will also turn into radicals.i don't even understand that mindset.
