Widow of slain activist Charlie Kirk endorses JD Vance for president

'We are going to get my husband's friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible,' Erika Kirk said.

Vice President JD Vance hasn't declared he'll run for president in 2028, but he's already getting an early boost from Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Erika Kirk endorsed a Vance presidential campaign during a Turning Point USA event in Arizona on Thursday, Dec. 18, saying she will work to make him the 48th president of the United States.

"We are going to get my husband's friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible," said Kirk, who took over leadership of Turning Point after her husband was killed.
