Indian nris send around 130 Billion $ in remittances every year. Its the highest any country receives.

NRIs are also asking for dual citizenships. They are all OCIs.

There are so many NRIs who returned and living in India with foreign passports.

i think history is going to repeat... once Quwait has lot of indian's when the war started the numbers were reduced drastically.. my guess is same thing will go on for the US Indians as well...

The number of Indians in US on work visas and work permits like OPT are  more than 3 millions(non profit H1B and their dependent h4eads are more than 600-700 k), by some estimates. They are sending that money to India. Once you take citizenship, it’s a pain in the yass to get the money back into US.

Agree....but that money resulted in lot of development in India.
