UREA import was impacted by tthree things. UKRAINE war stopped potash imports from Ukraine. China also banned UREA and potash sales to India for last 3 years. they just lifted ban after US sanctions on China as it is facing heavy pressure domestically for jobs and cash flow. Gas prices went way up (thanks to reliance) that domestic firms like Nagarjuna Urea also stopped plants running to produce UREA. Quote
