Question regarding Travel with valid visa and approved extension

Hello,

I have a valid H1 until Feb 2026 and my extension got approved for additional 3 years few days ago although I didn't get approval notice.  I'm planning to travel out of country and wanted to check if I can travel and come back without the new approval notice. Lawyer says I can while others say that I should only travel after I get original copy of i-797. Please share your insights.

better to have approval notice anna.. sometimes CBP may give short I-94

I797 vere evaru ayina vastunte tepinchuko valla chetha, its needed only when you’re back here. Risky option is to ship it to india.

Why can’t you wait until you get your I797? Is it worth risking your status? 

ee admin lo outside travel is risky.. every week, we are seeing one new restriction.. but if you must travel, better wait until you get your new I797..

Visa expiry is very near, technically you can go and come back. I-797, better teesukuni velladam because after you come back with new i-797

Status ki risk em vuntundhi bro? Wortst case I'm thinking my i-94 will only be valid until End of Feb. Can I visit CBP office with approval notice and get it extended?

There are reasons why you received that conflicting feedback. Technically, you should be able to travel but when returning port of entry taggara adugutaru document.
