Sambavami yugeyuge Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Hello, I have a valid H1 until Feb 2026 and my extension got approved for additional 3 years few days ago although I didn't get approval notice. I'm planning to travel out of country and wanted to check if I can travel and come back without the new approval notice. Lawyer says I can while others say that I should only travel after I get original copy of i-797. Please share your insights. Quote

Is it worth risking your status? ee admin lo outside travel is risky.. every week, we are seeing one new restriction.. but if you must travel, better wait until you get your new I797.. Quote

phatposts Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago When (***If***) you come back - visa stamping 1 day validity unna kooda raavachu - rule prakaram. Updated 797 prakaram DoS istaru - in your case new 797 choopiste appati varaku I94 vastundi. Approved 797 copy chetilo lekunda - you cannot expect a full I94. Ivanni kooda CBP officer discretion, nothing guaranteed. Right now aithe baaga imp aithene vellu, kaadu I have/want to go ante - all the best! 1 Quote
Jatka Bandi Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago There are reasons why you received that conflicting feedback. Technically, you should be able to travel but when returning port of entry taggara adugutaru document. Photocopy vunna chaalu anuko but they should be able to check your status in their systems. Moreover, Airliners also do the same check sometimes during boarding. As for the conflicting advise, needi approve avvochu, but documents lo typos paddayi anuko, leda nee online status ee wrong anuko, you will be in waters. Dani kosam confirmation vachake travel cheyamantaru. Approve ayipoyindi annavu kada.. few days lo vacheyale! Wait until you get the document. Kaadu urgent ante, FOIA file cheyi, and push through local representatives. Neeku document copy tondaraga vastadi. Lawyers should be able to do the same but kotha money raadu kabatti, neeku sodhi cheptaaru. Quote
