I dated a girl from Texas when I lived in Dallas a few years ago. She is as Texan as you can get - blonde and from a family that did all the usual "Texan" things. But none of them ever discriminated against me or made me feel uncomfortable. Hopefully, there are still more people like that, and this hate will slowly die down.
