Not just me....you did the same with others as well.

Seems to be repeat behavior.

I know you are not like that....but we all go through various phases.

Sometimes you don't get what others are trying to say.

As I repeatedly said, my preparations are going on. I will go when I am done setting up. Don't need anyone's advice or validation.

I am just sharing my years of research and my mindset here and trying to help people realize. Lot of people have different skillsets and most of those aren't equipped with making India vs US decision. I am just lucky my skillset helps here as I don't let emotions or past knowledge come in the way(forgetfullness helps :) ).

For everyone's sake....try to be logical. Put emotions aside.

All I can say is you are thinking in terms of nostalgia. Once a great country ...not anymore. Its actually the opposite.

If you think getting food within 10 mins of ordering is progress, well I give that to you. There are many other aspects of life that you are missing. MONEY IS NOT A SOLUTION FOR EVERYTHING. I dont do stocks, coz it takes away my peace. But I still make a good living without it. Putting funds in S&P is not stock trading btw, thats diversifying your passive income on an already diversified fund.

It would interesting to see if ur opinion changes, had the priority dates move to 2016. If you think u r catching the early boat so be it. Good for you....that doesn't mean everyone has to follow you or the ones who doesn't r sore losers. I'll leave that tunnel vision with u and move on.

I trust my intuition to figure out whats best for my family. I'd never want my kids to grow in a hostile "street smart" environment like in India. Ethics and morals have no value, only money does. May make sense for you to move. I travel to India almost every year and see how my cousin's and friends kids does in benguluru and hyd. This opinion of mine is not based on anta.com reviews....so no, its not nostalgic.

High beaurocracy, permits, labor costs and regulations  are leading to high Solar installation costs in US.

As I keep saying. Be logical.

You go to bangalore and compare with the situation there.

That area is not compatible for you. So why compare?

And how would priority dates moving to 2016 or 2020 impact me? I don't get that part.

Indian market is good to make quick money but long term investing is something questionable because India doesn't have any core strengths and depend a lot on foreign markets.

They can ignore them.

I know some who got stuck in India and are having better lifestyle now.

Some of the kids after masters got called back by their parents due to lack of jobs. They easily got jobs in India, bought a car  and first property. Property on loan but they appreciated well.

That is old India.

India was arms importer. Now its an exporter.

India imports lot of crude. In future, with EVs that won't be the case.

India started rare earth manufacturing. Subsidies have been tripled.

Zoho has been replacing microsoft in govt institutions.

Used to depend on others to send satellites into space. Now others are dependent on India.

India has been exporting automobiles....and those exports are rising.

India is Number 1 on pharma manufacturing. World depended on India for vaccines.

India launched its first fully indigenous semiconductor chip, the Vikram 32-bit processor, in September 2025, a significant step towards tech self-reliance, designed by ISRO's Semiconductor Lab (SCL) for space missions but with broader applications in mind, reducing dependence on foreign chips.

India's unicorn creation has significantly accelerated, with major booms in recent years; 2021 saw a peak, but steady growth continued through 2024, hitting 118 unicorns, across sectors like FinTech, SaaS, E-commerce, and HealthTech, showcasing a maturing ecosystem with diverse companies achieving $1B+ status

Comparatively US is lot more dependent on others than India.
