After Salman Khan, Chiranjeevi, Hrithik Roshan and other prominent figures of the Indian film industry got name and personality protection, Jr NTR also came forward to protect his personality rights. The Delhi High Court has already prohibited the sale of any goods or services using the actor's identity. After the interim order of protecting his personality and publicity rights was announced in his favour, Jr NTR shared a message hailing the Delhi High Court and expressing his gratitude towards his legal team.

In his tweet, Jr NTR wrote, "I thank the Hon'ble Delhi High Court for granting a protective order that safeguards my personality rights in today's digital age."

He further thanked his advocates for their guidance and wrote, "My sincere appreciation to Supreme Court Advocates Dr. Balajanaki Srinivasan and Dr. Alka Dakar, along with Mr. Rajender and team of Rights & Marks, for their dedicated legal support. Deeply thankful for your steadfast support."

What Will Happen After This Jurisdiction?

With the help of this jurisdiction, any unknown person and digital platforms will be refrained from using Jr NTR's name, likeness and persona for any monetary and commercial purpose. The protection further extends to his style, appearances, pictures and even titles, including 'Jr NTR', 'NTR', 'Man of Masses' and other significant appellation related to him in any way.

After the order rolled out, all the links, promotional content, listings, Urls and other unauthorised digital products are required to be taken down within 72 hours.

The actor approached the court after he discovered the extensive use of his name and photographs across various platforms. He rushed to the High Court after he discovered the unauthorised activities that had been happening under his name.
