Is it true that salaries will be increased for everyone on H1B this Feb ?

yea anna H1-B friend salary increased from 300k to 600k , PTO to 365 days, severance for 5 years and tolded to leave the country and all new salary benefits given after moving to India cc @Tellugodu

h1b wage levels will kick in for next lottery in April and people who earn high enough will get it. It will most likely trickle down to extensions/change of employer in the future. Someone who got h1b with wage level 3 cannot go back to level 2 or 1 in the future to game the system. Maybe this is what you think when you say salary increase for h1b

No it won't increase . You will be paid what market demands.  

the goal is to make h1b employees expensive enough so that employers hire citizens.  This is goal atleast on paper .
