Fake phone - FB marketplace

nenu FB marketplace lo iPhone 16 pro max $700 ki takkuva vastundi ani konna, this is back in Nov -Dec 2024

ammina vadu (Nigerian) seal di with IMEI# search chestey genuine ani untey kakruti padi konna, natho friend untey vadiki teliyakunda video tiyyi ani cheppa (atleast this serves a proof andulo vadi car # vadi face anni capture ayyai)

so intiki vachaka open chestey adi fake phone and vadiki cal chestey no response msg chesa i will call cops about this ani cheppa still no proper response fina ga county police ki cal chesi details share chesa ila fraud chesadu i have his details ani mottam share chesa later aa cop case # ichindi we will trace him with car tag# and update andi, aa cop ki ping chesa (point of contact tana phone# ichindi so I shared video pics chat history) vadu fb profile block or delete chesadu (after 2-3 months active chesadu) i shared that as well so na dagara unna anni details share chesa even i had his mobile # chat kuda share chesa , I even said I can drop the phone in the police station if you want antey I will let u know andi

In April - May I asked its been more than 4 months can I get an update ani, she responded we were able to trace him and we will send the details andi 

after 1 year ivala court nundi letter vachindi 

Subpoena- jan 22 - trial - officer scheduling with address and time icharu with a case # and tracking #

 

i called district court to get more details vallu u showed up Dec 23 antadi no I did not ani cheppa you need to discuss with sheriff dept and check and you need to come to court Jan 22 andi

sheriff dept ki cal chesa with case # in the letter they got some info cop xyz dealt and they need to Divya’s more andi nenu new phone teesukovadam valla cop tho chat deleted I was able to get her email and I emailed her asking same yet to get an update

what was your intention getting that person behind the bars or different one... Justice never comes by sitting in Home, why going to court is a big deal if you wanted justice...

Not worth. Doesn’t make much difference. Don’t buy phones in marketplace or Craigslist or offer up. If buying used, get in swappa.

Nigerian princes are not using emails now.. they are using FB marketplace.. 

I think you did enough.. inka lite thiskoo.. fb and eBay lo electronics or any valuables konaddu.. lot of scrap came into this country in the last few years..

And you are a victim. So, I am not sure why are you afraid? Stand for the right thing. Nothing will happen to your H1B.

Visa issues anna….. visa officers are looking for small reasons to deport to meet their quota. There is chance visa officer may not believe your story that you got scammed by Nigerian, what if this guy forgot mentioning facebook profile in ds160…there are lot of ifs…

First thing, he doesn't have a choice. Subpeona ante vellalsinde. Ayina meeru ila antunnaru. What if I say that he witnessed a crime and did not stand for it. It is against the ethics of this country. Citizen duties fulfill cheyaledu, dobbeyi anta.

Second, he is not a perpetrator. He is a witness.

Third, witness vi antha dooram vellavu. Ayina every state has an option to expel or contain a record from sharing with any agency.

Whatever it is.. US values ethics and integrity. Be responsible and do not lie. People will appreciate you. Hinduism kuda teach chestadi ee concept. As simple as that.

Aa post malli inkosari chadu. He validated the serial number against Apple site. The Chinese shitttt these days looks and feels real and digitally validated. 
He followed the case for 1-year. And based on the details he provided, the court/police/himself are not in sync. He is confused now. Of course he has no choice but to go to court. 
Since he felt is it worth the hassle, I am surprised he expected any different. Now he has to identify and testify against him. You can understand what could happen (or not happen too) if he identifies and testifies. Is it really worth the hassle now for the crime or the money involved. If the author is fighting for justice,m and nothing else he should not feel it as a hassle.

His narrative was poor. The way I understood, he validated the serial number on the box, but the other party cheated him by repackaging a dummy inside the sealed box.

May be he is incompetent in comprehending what they said? Court clerks are mostly incompetent and he is not dealing with the detective/Investigating Officer on the police side. 

You know my thoughts and I do not have respect for such people. But it is also not my position to berate every one of them. Mana lanti vaallu chivatlu pettayina, attitude marchaali. Cheap lo kavali but hassle anta.

This is not India or a movie.

He made a mistake with his absent mindedness, but he was also smart to record the interaction. I do not think it is his mistake completely. The other person was the perpetrator. This guy has an intent to not violate the law with his purchase. It is now his responsibility to do his part in this society.
