Only mistake is even oil is a distraction as the cost is too much to extract and process the heavy crude and will take a long time to even reach their production levels in 1990's which was the peak.

Real reason is probably to expand american influence and put in a puppet head of the state and to appease his base that's the reason he constantly talks about oil as it seems to be a viable reason to invade and most people don't look into the details of it.

US lo unna refineries anni heavy crude oil process chesevi annadi argument.. so oil from Venezuela fits rightly (just like Canada) for the U.S. oil refineries
