I have decided not to do an IT job any more in 2-3 yrs. I need a liquid cash of 3million at least to take that decision. Then I started thinking of how I can make that.
Job - Will take another 10 yrs, so no.

Business - I have good business plans and have great friends, but have seen many friendships and differences arise coz of money matters, so NO.
Stock Market - Started thinking, is it possible? My earnings from market in the last 15 yrs is max 100-200k. So I decided to hone my skill. Now, I am 1/3 way into it.

I do not want to retire but continue the new path I choose.

Point is , if you manifest, you have a strong reason, you will automatically put in enough time and eventually succeed. Just dreaming is not enough. Find a path and pursue it.

4 to 5 Million networth gives you financial independence (provided it is invested in risk free assets and generating enough cash)

I do investing and options swing/long term trading. Worked out pretty good for me.  Pick stocks that have good fundamentals, hone your technical skills to find the direction, buy options in that direction. You gotta understand Greeks, IV, Bullish/Bearish slowness, analyze data and then trade.
I am putting together a model for myself to analyze this data and make decision making easy. Otherwise there are plenty of good subscriptions where you can make sense of the data like unisualwhales and TradingView.
