Thats the problem man. No ethics, accountability, integrity in our country right from common person to highesr post in the country.

First thing our people should be taught is these things in school.

as saidnin earlier post .. the culprits needs to be punished and if the govt is not doing that you are right on that part of not taking any action

Every Indian group I join cry about AQI and govt inaction, but at the same time buy gas guzzling SUVs. Pretty sure the guy who posted this thread belongs to the same category. People who take action don't post such stuff.

Personal responsibility towards the nation is important. Govt is doing its part by taxing petrol and deisel high and giving excellent subsidies to solar, ev and charging stations. They tripled subsidies on rare earth manufacturing as well.

All I say is to make yourself better. 

Small things like shifting to EV, setting up solar panels goes a long way.

What others should do is not in our control. 

Problem is never with government, its with you and me.

I am doing my part, already set up multiple solar installations, shifted completely to EVs and helping setting up charging station. I complain on officials who don't do their job.

Do your part and educate your neighbors...that is how a great nation is built. Not by expecting some kind of action from the top. So, the ball is in your court. What are YOU going to do?

So shifting to solar panel makes you a responsible person? I'd say your plastic solar panels create more carbon footprint than Hydro, geothermal, and hydrogen energy sources. Now what do you have to say about that? You might as well encourage govts to create more energy from more such sources...instead you talk about solar panels. Same can be argued about EVs.

Ae country lo aina rule of law lekapothe evvadu vinadu. Country runs by rules not emotions. Personal responsibility chaala mandi chesthaaru but majority are corrupt and shortcut mentality. Thats why we stay as mediocre and no one respects us. 

Mana corruption and greed is what made Britishers rule for 200 yrs. I wish we won independence through means of Bagath singh instead of Gandhi way. We would have learned what sacrifices mean and what it takes to build a nation and true patriotism means.
