I'll correct myself....its 2 months prior to the 4yr9month requirement. So thats 5 months earlier than the 5yr period.

yes...reapplied and got his citizenship. but lost the fee on first application.

Only difference is that US citizens have to file taxes even when residing elsewhere in the world and get taxed if the income is above 70k.

This is what I am telling. rep podduna India la settle avvalanukunte he will still owe taxes on India income as a US citizen but doesn't have to pay as Indian citizen.

Enduku kattaru....India ki still taxes kattali...70k ante 65 Lakhs INR nearly. Antha income vasthunda aithe. Vachinaa...an OCI can claim Indian citizenship back after living 1 year in India.
