The "913 continuous residence requirement" refers to the physical presence needed for U.S. citizenship, specifically 913 days (30 months) in the U.S. during the five years

No, kaadu

You’re allowed to apply up to 90 days early before the full 5 years is completed.

4th year 9th month nunchi eligibility vastundi apply cheyadaniki

Crazy ga vacation ki velthe it won't count in the continuous presence, so you have to remove those days

No....as long as the absence is less than 6 months, Its considered continuous presence. You would not interrupt continuous residence if the breaks are not longer than 6 months.

See pg. 22

I just simply waited for the full 5 years to finish. That eliminated any confusion about counting days etc.,

Got the notice to appear for interview around 2 months after my application.

Should have received oath ceremony notice within 2 weeks of the interview but I made a mistake at the interview which meant I had to wait for about 10 months before I was invited for the oath ceremony.

No need to hire a lawyer if your case is straightforward.

Good luck.

I had a "reckless driving' citation which got reduced to "improper driving" at the court.

The N400 clearly asks if you ever received a citation at any time - so my answer was pretty clearly YES since I did receive a citation.

Now, by the time I attended the citizenship interview this improper driving citation was removed from my driving record since I had taken some defensive driving classes.

On the day of the interview - the officer asked me if I had any citations on my record and my initial answer was "NO" and that was the correct statement since as of that day of the interview - I had no record of any citations.

But neny konchem alochincha - maybe the officer would think that I gave 2 different answers for the same question - one on the application form and one at the interview.

So, I added another sentence and told the officer that I did have a citation but today on the day of the interview I do not have it ani.

She looked at her computer and handed me a document which simply said "Congratulations, your application is recommended for approval" - if final approval is granted we will notify you.

I am 99% sure if I had stuck to my original answer - I probably would have gotten the oath ceremony date then and there.

Konchem thatapataayinchatam valla - they probably had to check my records again which cost me an additional 10 months.

All is well that ends well though. Appudu ee Trump admin lo unnani tensions levu - edo citizenship notice late avuthundi anna baadha thappa.

Aa vishayam ippudu jarigi untey - antey ippudu unna Trump admin time lo jariguntey - maybe I would have spent sleepless nights.

Think before applying. You will be forever America's B!tch paying taxes whatever you own including Indian assets.

You can always renounce and become bhakth, if you’re feeling you’re a bitch.
