Electric vehicles have become cheaper compared to petrol or deisel.

That was 4-5 years ago. Now its not like that.

People in my circle have been selling off their petrol SUVs and buying EVs due to fuel and maintenance costs.

No time wastage as well as they avoid going to gas stations.

Take a look at Mahindra's XEV 9e(5-seater) and XEV 9s(7-seater).

XEV 9s is EV alternative of XUV 7XO.

Don't look at Showroom price, look at out the door price as tax for EV is Zero.

They are both more powerful than a 1-2 Cr SUV and have 15 years unlimited KM warranty on the battery.

MG Windsor is also an excellent City vehicle.

Tata has decent offerings as well with Harrier EV an excellent All wheel drive option.

Tata Sierra EV getting launched in Feb.

Maruti e- vitara is also getting launched.

In another 6-12 months, EVs are going to get even more cheaper and with more range due to Sodium Ion and Blade battery Version 2. They are already being fitted onto BYD cars right now in China.
