In US and UK(not for sure) ...the culture of watching movie depends on the reviews that people look in different sites....
people dont have any opinion of their own...they see reviews and stick to that opinion....i understand if it is disaster movie, still we need to see...in india everyone goes atleast 1 week we see people gng....but here
