Sidhu...Sidhaarth Roy Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Srinagar, Dec 5: CPI today expressed displeasure over comments by Army officers on policy decisions of the government, saying the forces should leave it to the Parliament."Policy making is in the domain of the Parliament and the Government and the Armed forces should refrain from making comments on these issues," party national secretary D Raja told reporters here.Raja, who was part of a Parliamentarian-civil society delegation on a three-day 'fact finding' mission to Kashmir, was responding to a question over the recent spat between Army and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over the removal of security bunkers. The CPI leader said, in the recent times, there were other incidents of this nature where Army officers were commenting on Government policies in other parts of the country."We are critical of such things... army will have to work on the defined policy," he said.
