Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Description

·        Oracle development experience - 5+ years

·        Expert knowledge in Oracle 10g and above, in a Unix environment

·        Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring and tuning multiple Oracle databases.

·        Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL

·        Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import)

·        Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all procedures

·        Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need

·        Excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive and interpret business needs

·        Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills

·        Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus


Responsibilities:
·        Contribute to the technical code and design documentation.

·        Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested.

·        Advanced tuning of PL/SQL

·        Oracle Database Administration

·        Current technologies include DataStage 8.x, Crystal Report 2008, Business Objects XI R2 and Oracle Rack 11g.
