Those filling this position will be assisting in a large scale data migration project. They will be evaluating the current data load process, and re-engineering a solution to load data from Sybase ASE to SQL Server 2005 on a nightly basis. Analyzing schema-level and row-level differences between Sybase ASE and SQL Server 2005 will be required, as will be writing SQL scripts and C# programs to import and export the data. This solution will be written by two contractors working together, under the direction of the product's current developers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
MUST HAVE
·        QL Server expert, with experience in C#ADO.NET
·        SQL profiling & optimization techniques
·        Experience with data migration projects
·        Visual Studio experience
·        SQL Server Management Studio experience
