On a sleepy morning, Ram Gopal Varma  watches a news story. In the following hours, you find breaking news about his plan to make a story on the said new story. Immediately he announces a title. Tweets on it. His followers give some more suggestions and he retweets the 'New Title'. And sends mails to media companies. His PRO's work over enthusiastically to get that 'good footage' in media. He forgets it.

Next day, he hosts a press meet about some other movie that is soon to be released. Following day, he announces another movie. Meanwhile, his films hit the screens and go. They don't even run for a week. Not bogged down by the result, he announces another movie.

For the past few months, this is the RGV's routine schedule and tantrums that we have been witnessing.

Film after film is flopping, audiences are shrinking, his devoted fans are deserting him, yet Ram Gopal Varma is still languishing in his old glory and continuously resorting to cheap tricks. He himself announced recently that whatever he does - announcements, etc, - are for sheer publicity nothing else. Last nail in the coffin of his gimmicks is that he reportedly arranged some persons and made them to throw eggs at him at college function of Siddhartha Engineering College in Vijayawada on December 11, 2010.

That is why everyone is calling him as Drama Gopal Varma.

Undoubtedly he is one of the greatest filmmakers in India and made some classics that we never forget but it is equally true that he has fallen from grace.
