""""What the fcuk is this FREE schemes. Why should the hard-working people pay for the livelihood of people who hardly works???????
For example, a software engineer whose salary is around 10 lpa pays around 2 lakhs per annum as Income tax (I am not sure though the current Tax rules in India as it has been quite a long time I have left India).
Now this 2 lakhs is being distributed to some 10 families (20,000 per family for example) in terms of YSRs FREE schemes. What the hell is this? Who has given him the right to distribute the money to the poor?
ISN'T IT THE DAY LIGHT ROBBERY OF THE HARD WORKING PEOPLE? Why should we give free things to the people? A capitalistic country never cares for the poor people and should not. At this point of time, I would like to tell you my background. I was from a very poor family (no reservations for my caste, so in constitutional terms, it is a forward caste) but bright in academics and I have suffered all the pains being a poor-student. Finally graduated and seen the light of the day. Professionally succesful and earning decently.
If you go on giving 'freebies' to these so called poor people when will they learn to live? When do they do hard-work? When will they change their attitude? """"

Ya what u said seems to be correct for you ,, but taking various factors into consideration ,, if you know there are poor people within poor , u might want to actually know this,,, In a country like india where there is much abuse , crime, racism, and hate, yes definitely benefits for poor from govt are worth it ,,,,  Today u , me and most here are fortunate enough to live in places like us/uk etc and earn some change.. what about tomorrow , it could be anything ,,u never know whats in the corner for u , do u ?
if anyone can't earn money do u reckon they shud be killed or kept to slavery or what..?

Every person suffers pains , be it poor or rich ,  pains may be different though!
There are many people who are bright with academics but they have their own talent ,, untill they get chance to display their talent they have to live ,which means they have to seek some help ,,,,,I can give you many examples who lived on benefits during their Early's and then made a fortune as well as contributed for good sake of country and betterment of human race

So to sumup  don't see free schemes as someone steeling your money in daylight, think it as ur responsibility to let other people live  thats the least thing we can do as humans... if not I can't see a difference between cannibal and a human
ayina asalu nuvu india lo tax kattav kada bhayya abroad lo unte , elago ivvatledu ga inka emiti problem,, nuvvu ivvavu itchevadini tidatava.

the basic reason advanced countries depend less on agriculture is economical transformation

take any successful western country its a transformation from agriculture industry  to manufacturing industry to  service Industry

India is the only country in the world which is try to jump into service sector with out having a proper base in manufacturing sector. But we have to live it if have to catch up
[/quote]

Successful western countries as you say ,, never left agriculture for manufacturing... Yes they are more Dependant on manufacturing ...
Early  1900 and 20th century lo manufacturing industry  was like a small child.... In western countries due to climate conditions , lack of interest among the people for agriculture and also due to changing food habits, Western world definitely more towards meat than normal vegetables ...vegetables are consumed less, it always has been like that ,,, there are poor countries which  depends on agriculture , so they have choice also it was definitely not the best option for them to do given climate and natural resources in most "western" countries , so they have concentrated more on manufacturing industry .
But in india we have natural resources and most  people eat non-veg only once a week, utilization of wheat and vegetables more in India, more demand and so we need to have more supply,,, so we are not leaving or jumping to service industry by dumping agriculture/food industry ,, we still are concentrating on it...

Point B
By term 'manufacturing industry' do u mean manufacturing of only automobiles and cellphones etc ?  ,
My point of view is
India do have a base in manufacturing , many items with the exception of "made in china " ,, what people use in india from toys to cars are  manufactured in india, companies pay taxes in india etc,,,,
but you want india to conquer manufacturing as a whole and start manufacturing items for western,, then what would western countries do ,,, open up a call center ? Already china is doing that to them ,, instead of competing with china ,, we are doing what we are best at .!...
I think what we are doing now is strategically correct , service industry,  there is talent in our youth, and it is a massive market as manufacturing . In-fact as a whole companies spend  more in customer service/ service industry than manufacturing some thing

We need to maintain balance between both for now and as country develops I am sure manufacturing industry will be taken care of.

Please refer Developed as freedom by Amartya sen, It clearly compares the diff between India and other western countries  economic transformation

I did not say that i want India to be like china manufacturing generic  and cheap goods, I mean i want India to be self sufficient in manufacturing

how do you think you can accommodated vast pool of agriculture unemployment into service sector, manufacturing is the only  sector which can absorb low skill unemployment

its not always climatic conditions that dictate the countries agriculture, if so whats up with USA which has similar geographical area like India

Why do you think that we need to accommodate vast  pool of agriculture unemployment into service sector ?
Most of the unemployment in agriculture industry is caused due to lack of awareness  and support from government. Support in the sense people need experts advise on 'How do I' from buying , raising and selling end product ,,,,, government should stop brokers who are kind of ripping farmers off....Government agencies should take necessary course of action to buy directly from farmers with reasonable price and sell in the market ..which stops middleman business .
or
Farmers need to reduce their costs of purchased inputs through diversification, increase the value of their products through direct marketing, focus on doing things that they do best, and work together to do the things that they can’t do as well alone. As a result, their net return per rupee of sales may be 40% to 50% rather than the 15% to 20% for a conventional farm.

Or

Farmers must be encouraged to sign contracts with large agribusiness corporations as a means of survival and success.

First of all Experts advice is needed for farmers. It should be run  like corporate contracting....farmers should find ways to survive and succeed, if not prosper.

Why can't we move towards making agriculture industry as India's biggest industry and successful industry .... why do we need to  sort of  move people from agriculture to manufacturing industry ?
If farmers stop farming what would you eat ?
.................................................
17 % of all population works in the agriculture of USA. Agriculture is major industry in USA,  For record US agriculture industry is growing !
