Basic ga flow around a cylinder baa......to keep it simple...When a cylinder is placed in a liquid flow....vortices and vortex shedding occurs around the cylinder fro a broad range of Reynold's numbers.....so we have to design in such a way that we generate Hydro-Kinetic energy from the Vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) formed aorund the cylinder
