Only for the sake of selfpride many ppl in our state safegaurd only a set of ppl of their community.....Eariler one of the community which is known for their helping nature in big way and kind heartedness have changed their ways and trying for supremacy among....This has led to the insecurity in others and many others many in number from other communities too have started to safegaurd their own group of ppl. This is where the clash in ideas have come from Its real shame to imagine tht there is something that DUMB CASTE SYSTEM which runs us daily in Andhra.... My kind request is love your CASTE but dont consider few ppl in your specific community as your IDOLS and dont tyr to add few more to your list and dont keep your opinions confined/narrowminded to the same for decades n decades.....change ur attitude from day to day as per the political/economic scenarios.....support anyone whom u think can do good for ppl on the whole... krish_V Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 To a large extent impact of racism (where people could be discriminated just by their appearence) has been brought under control..i dont see a reason why casteism cannot be driven out of indian society.....15-20 years from now people will likely look at caste as a obsolete concept. education will play a major role in changing the mindset of people. Too bad that some highly educated people these days too support caste even when there is no logic in it. for a start I think NGOs and sensible people should work and campaign towards bring down the discrimination amongst same category of castes(like oc, bc, sc, etc.). Without removing reservations I dont think caste could be completed eliminated completely from India. It could take upto 50 years for this to materialize. Broadminded intellectuals should come out and work towards such causes...
Destruction Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 This argument has a bit of sense but needs clarity among you as to which caste you guys belong too....I think it takes ages for ppl in this community to realise that stamping the authority wth their caste is of utter nonsense. As far as my kowledge is conc,,,all of you know that most of the members here are from "Kamma" caste, thier taste are set wth boundaries by their fore fathers,themselfs, etc; .....I dont mean tht i dont like them!! I'm a reddy, i like if ppl present thier views about different caste(Even thier own caste),rather than talking abt a system which has no control to itself..... This topic should extract good arguments ..ppl with obliterate ideas may be ignored
