Here at the 5th step, after taking the square root LHS can be either equal to (+'ve RHS or -'ve RHS) or viceversa, but here he equated it to +'ve RHS wher the mistake is i guess,,,,,,,,, it holds good if he had equated it to -'ve RHS by we get 1/2=1/2 !!
