Sprint’s HTC EVO Shift 4G On Sale January 9th

After flurries of leaks, HTC’s EVO Shift 4G smartphone has been introduced by exclusive carrier Sprint, which’ll have it on shelves January 9th at $US150. As expected, it’s a slide-out QWERTY keyboard phone with a 3.6-inch touchscreen.

There’s also a 5MP camera which can shoot videos at 720p, and the ever-present Android Froyo platform.

Also announced by Sprint today is a 4G MiFi, which can support up to five WiFi clients, and has a battery life of 60 hours standby (and 4 hours of use).
