massive release for AOD

Anaganaga O Dheerudu - Disney’s first production in India is all set to release on the auspicious day of Sankranthi (14 January 2011). Sankranthi season is very lucrative for filmmakers as films releasing for Sankranthi have high probability of getting humongous openings.

350 prints and 700 screens
Disney’s Anaganaga O Dheerudu is going to release with 350 prints in over 700 screens in the entire world. Films like Magadheera and Arundhati which have similar supernatural and huge canvas were lapped up by audiences and went onto become huge blockbusters. Likewise, Disney is planning for a huge release for AOD to make sure that it generates as much of openings as possible.

72 minutes of graphics
As it is a fantasy film, AOD is having 72 minutes of rich visual effects (Main VFX Company FIREFLY Hyderabad, Additional VFX: EFX, Labyrinth, Pixelloid). This film features Siddharth (Yodha - blind warrior), Sruthi Hassan (Priya - gypsy girl), Lakshmi Manchu (Irendri) and Baby Harshita (Moksha). Prakash Kovelamudi (son of K Raghavendra Rao) makes his debut as commercial film director with this movie.
