OPT Help urgent

Hi,

My OPT is expiring at the end of this month, my employer had applied for H1b and its still in processing.

Can i work after this month if dont hear USCIS by the end of this month.

I am planning to apply for some univs and get CPT to be on the safe side...Please suggest

[/quote]maam..take 40hrs cpt from some univ...u r not supposed to work in that gap period but u can stay in US..so safe side ki ASAP oka admission theeskoni sevis transfer cheyyinchuko..H1 approve ainaka status maaripothadi H1 ki..this is wat I feel sHa_fr1ends

okasari h1 apply chesaka its ok .. u can work even if your OPT is expired. Only if your h1 is rejected you have to leave US .. daniki kuda ento tym unti some60-90 days .

So until you get the result of your H1 .. no pbm to work ...99% sure nenu ..

But USCIS ki call chesi .. nee peru chepakunda just situation cheppu ..confirm chesuko
