the limit amount is 40hrs. But you can do OVERTIME . SOURCE: MYSELF. as i have done it with Motorola as an INTERN.

U can also work for 2 companies, by splitting your hours.

I havent seen any issue, where OPT STUDENTS are caught/identified by IRS or USCIS for exceedign 40 hrs.

Ya u can work for more than 1 employer on  OPT as long as its related to ur masters and ur co ordinator approves it and shouldn't exceed ur 20 Hrs /week if u r doing Part time OPT (pre term OPT) or 40 Hrs/Week if full time OPT(Post term OPT) Legally and u can work more than 40 HRs as long as ur supervisor is comfortable supporting u.

Naa Kaaalam Lo..Nenu sesinappudu  nenu Maa supervisor manchi understanding ki vachi. Over time HRS anni nenu leaves pettinappudu cover chesko ani Green Signal Icahdu baa and still i used to claim 45 48 HRS per week and some he paid with Company Expenditure check which is non taxable amount.
