The city of Vijayawada is known for its Caste Politics and Rowdies. Once upon a time, there is a saying that the entire politics of AP were controlled by this temple city. Though the rowdyism of Vijayawada depleted to a minimum, the traces can be seen surfacing here and there.

Inspired by all these scenarios, genius filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma started making a film titled 'Bezawada Rowdeelu' showcasing two prominent caste leaders Ranga and Nehru of the city. From the last two days, there is a strong grapevine in Film Nagar that young hero Naga Chaitanya is going to play the role of 'Vangaveeti Ranga', the deceased icon for Kapu's of Vijayawada. This is really a wonder for the movie lovers and RGV’s idea of casting a Kamma Hero for Kapu leader's role is amazing, stated a noted director.
