H1 application for 2011

mamalu nenu ee year H1 apply cheddam anukuntunnaa.

1) my OPT will end on june 4th 2011

2) the project i am currently working on might end before my OPT status ends ( i;e june 4th 2011) or  not end untill end of the year which is 31 dec 2011.

My situation:-- the company who is running my payroll currently says that if my project ends before my OPT ends it wont apply for the H1 , it will apply for H1 only if it goes beyond my OPT status.

And also i work for less than 50K and applying H1 on that salary will only leave holes in my pocket , i asked them for a hike which they are not willing.

Database manager position ki entha pay undaali MD state lo sCo_hmmthink , antha ichhi H1 apply cheyyamante modatike mosam chese laa unnaru .
3) if i apply for a H1 and it is approved what is my situation after june 4th  sCo_hmmthink sCo_hmmthink

can i still work ? what will be my status.

4) ippudu unna present situation lo i am very critical to them and if i leave the company they will be doomed so nenu ide chance ani H1 apply cheyyamani adugudam anukuntunna.

mee vadini apply cheseyyamanu.. like in this month .. so that nee OPT period void aipothundi.. u will be in H1 right away as soon as ur H1 gets approved.. Premium processing cheyisthe u can know the status of your H1 application in no morethan 2-3weeks .. so u have a choice to apply now/ u can wait till April

Apply chesey mama H1-b now..Even your OPT expires on june 4th you can work till Oct(If your H1-B is in process or approved).And salary should be effect from OCt not from now ..naku telisinatha varaku.

Oh yeah you are right!! If you are apply for this year quota..it will start immediately.
i thought he is planning to apply for FY2012.

And there is an option to utilize our full OPT. Lilke if you apply on feb1'2010 you can choose H1-b effective start date within 6 months of that date ..so you can choose start date from may ending. You can save some taxes.

Apply for H1 right away in the 2010 quota.. I guess they still have 10,000 applications left...

and if his employer applies for H1 after April 1st.... he will fall under that 3month cap gap (but chary has more almost 4months which might be  a concern) and technically he is not supposed to work  but will be in status. But desi consultancies will have employees working during that period from June to Oct but cannot run payroll and all this money will be generally added as re-imbursement etc later in Oct payroll....
