The Southern star Venkatesh plays paraplegic in his forthcoming film Savitri.

Southern star Venkatesh loves to experiment when it comes to acting. The actor is excited to play a paraplegic in his new film 'Savitri'. As we all know, Hrithik Roshan won accolades for his role of a paraplegic in Bollywood film Guzaarish. Taking that into consideration, Venkatesh knows that he has a winner of a character in hand.

After the success of 'Nagavalli' where he plays a character with grey shades, Venkatesh is now gearing up to play a paraplegic. It is believed that like Hrithik, Venkatesh is also practicing his act on a wheelchair.

Interestingly, 'Savitri' is a woman-centric film and will have more of Trisha who plays the title role. However, inspired by Hrithik's role in 'Guzaarish', Venkatesh has taken this as a challenge to make his character outstanding.

This is going to be Venkatesh's third film with Trisha as the duo teamed up for 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule' and 'Namo Venkatesa' earlier. 'Savitri' has been directed by Teja and produced by Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions.
