The proof for this is the latest Box Office revenues of this Sankranthi season. Generally, a top notch collection of somewhere around 20-30 crores is expected during this festive season. This year, a phenomenal drop of 50% is noted in that, as the cash registers accounted for just 8-9 crore mark. Telugu Film Industry is blaming the 'audience' alone for this loss of money. Is it true?

Absolutely not. Before blaming the audience for the loss, TFI has to check its credibility, in making a people-liking-movie. A movie with an entertaining content is always welcomed warmly by Telugu people. 2009 is welcomed with the success of 'ARUNDHATI', while it is 'ADHURS' in 2010. Both the films are not so sound in their story lines, but the narrative styles of them are impressive. TFI’s representatives are saying that the viewers of the first show are spreading negative talk and hence the failures. They should notice that only the first reports of those viewers made yesteryear flicks blockbusters.

The content of biggies like 'PARAMA VEERA CHAKRA', 'ANAGANAGA O DHEERUDU' and 'MIRAPAKAYA' are comparatively very weak, while the narration succumbs to snail's pace. Intellectually developed audience now needs a film that can entertain them, but not the one to test their intelligence. Star Heroes should learn that people need something new, but not something confusing and outdated. Star Directors should know that 'star-power' is nothing before a good story and decent narration.
