She was linked up with Maddelechervu Suri and Bhanu. As the police started interrogating her as she was a relative to Suri, media channels those feel competitive with NTV started throwing mud on her cruelly with various cock and bull stories out of their creativity. It is pity to know this. Sweta Reddy is not convicted by law. She is just under interrogation as suspect. And the suspect is being projected as convict by media. In fact there is nothing wrong in projecting the truth. But playing with the life of a lady who is not yet convicted is pity. The height of this incident is that the fellow journalists are throwing filth on her. Media has no limits or boundaries in making people scapegoats. Even the general public is skeptical about Sweta Reddy’s news. Sweta on TV9 says, “I belong to an educated family and Suri happened to be my distant relative. He suffered a lot in jail. He was released and joined the regular civilian stream. He said that he was reformed. Our family members have shown sympathy on him with humanity. That was the sin we made. All my family members were interrogated. But they are not celebrities. Unfortunately I’m known to public and hence my own platform ‘media’ itself targeted me. Many stories were weaved around me stating that have binami properties given by Bhanu etc. That is unfortunate thing of mine. Popularity is sin. Whatever is projected badly about me in media is false”. Well, these are valid words so far. Let us see what truth says.
