Lest we forget, all of humanity is most notably united in its uniform lack of perfection.The question that has to be asked is what level of culpability might a person have if the accused institution is still approved by SEVIS? How wrong is the action of a student granted CPT or taking classes if SEVP permitted the institution to print the I-20 and allowed USCIS to issue the F-1 status or the Department of State to issue the F-1 visa?The FACT is that ICE did not suspend TVU. The FACT is that Tri-Valley University is STILL on the Approved Schools List that ICE operates. The FACT is that one might presume that everybody who enrolled at TVU knew that the school engaged in the activities alleged by ICE, but it is highly improbable to KNOW such a presumption to be true. However, the FACT is that a complaint has been filed and the Department of Justice will pursue a prosecution based on alleged violations of various laws.However, in the American justice system, one is presumed innocent. A rush to judgment is un-American and in the public sphere like this Forum has also been known to be used as a basis for litigation by an injured party against accusers.[u][i][b]Discussions that are being held on the MurthyForum and others are likely being reviewed by the U.S. Attorney's Office, ICE, Tri-Valley University, and others.[/b][/i][/u]
