I can't tell you exactly.Q) Is that going to effect my H1 processing as I am on CPT and have h1 under processing?A) It may or may notQ) I am in my CPT period, Is that going to be invalid?A) Update your SEVIS with your address, and wait for any communication from USCIS. But for the safe side, Stop Working if you want to.Q) What if my H1-b gets approved?A) It may approve in two kinds. one with I-94 and the other with out I-94. If it is approved with I-94 then you are good. Otherwise, you may need to leave the country and come back with a different I-94.Q) What If I get a deportation notice, which most of the people are suspecting?A) Don't leave the country immediately, go to the lawyer who filed your H1 and take him to the court and request for Voluntary departure. If you leave the country with deportation notice, you will have a 5 year ban on you.Q) Can I work with H1-b Receipt number?A) No, you can'tQ) Is this TVU issue going to effect any furthur immigration processing?A) As you are not going to be out of status for more than 180 days, you won't be having any issues.Q) Any background checks if I go to stamping any time down the road bcoz of this issue?A) You can always defend that, you joined in an university which has SEVIS approval.I am all nervous, curious, out of control just like you guys...I hope everything will work best for all of us.
