here is the catch............. OPT tax is same as H1 tax

only diff is indian students are exempt from the first 8500$ they earn,,,,,,,,, that mean if you earn 50K.. they consider ur taxable income as 41.5K

u will get back around 2.6K assuming that u paid 3K in fed taxes
