5-6 years back, supreme court passed an advice(okka vidham ga cheppali ante order) not to consider people who r not in this world while giving bharat ratna.

Lobbying...thats what Tamilians have done to secure Bharat Ratna to MGR.
CBN could have easily done that when he was one of the partners of NDA Govt. led by BJP.
If he could not do that there are only 2 reasons:
1. He doesn't want to secure the award at the cost of his own personal interest
2. He doesn't feel that NTR is eligible for the award.

I never understood why he asks the Congress Govt. to award BR to NTR.
Luckily gone were the days where TDP could come back to power and influence Central Govt. to get BR to NTR.
By the way,as I said, MGR doesn't deserve BR as does NTR.
What is the largest community that they have served. People of their state at the most?
NTR is even worse. He introduced caste inflicted politics for which TDP is paying now. Telangana issue is already there which would wipe out TDP from the entire region. Even if it comes to power it wont have enough MPs to influence Central Govt. to secure BR for NTR.
NTR himself wanted to be branded as Telugu Bidda or Telugu Dash etc.
Then how do we ask for a national award. Does it make any sense?

Think logically, with out prejudice or on the caste lines, how can you put NTR's and MGR's name in the lines of the Greats like:
MS Subbulakshmi, APJ Kalam, MS Swaminathan, C V Raman, Amartya Sen, Vinobha Bhave etc...??????

By the way, its not only MGR, lot of people like Rajiv Gandhi, Kamaraj, Ambedkar etc got the award posthumously..
