u can call the SAVE office. They will verify, your I-94 status and also, company's ID with them.

These days, most of DLs are issued only after verifying the SAVE case number with USCIS.

company's ID is -E-verify.

DL= Driving License....

I was mentioning 2 things in my post.

1) for fresh applicants, if they want to verify the employer/apllying company's details. they can call the "SAVE"/ICE number

2) The other part of the answer is , for those who are having H-1 extensions or currently stuck without multiple entry stamping etc. If they need to extned their DL or get an out of state transfer, then they are being issued with a SAVE case number, to verify their immigration status with USCIS.

It is the same office/number.

BETTER to not go with companies that are not e-verifiable. Going forward, IMMIGRATION will be a problem without it.

As of now, it is not a mandatory thing , but it is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BEST PRACTICE.

company will have to pay a nominal  for being Listed as E-VERIFIED company. But you need not pay, in order to verify those details
